The Lea County Clerk’s Office is reminding residents to keep an eye on their mailboxes for Voter Address Confirmation Postcards.
These postcards are being mailed to voters who may have moved without updating their voter registration information. If you receive one, don’t ignore it. Responding helps ensure your voter registration remains current and that you receive important election information and the correct ballot for your residential address.
If You Receive a Postcard:
- Complete and return the postcard
- Update your voter registration online at NMVote.gov
- Or vote in any election through the 2028 General Election
Keeping your voter registration information current helps election officials maintain accurate voter records and helps ensure you receive the correct ballot based on your residential address.
