The Meade County Clerk's Office reminds eligible residents to register to vote by 4:00 p.m. on October 5, 2026, for the November 3 General Election. Community members are also encouraged to serve as poll workers and support the election process.  
                   

                                        

Registration Deadline Approaching for the November 3, 2026 General Election

The Meade County Clerk's Office reminds all eligible residents that the deadline to register to vote for the November 3, 2026 General Election is Monday, October 5, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.

If you have recently moved, changed your name, or have not yet registered to vote, please ensure your voter registration is current before the deadline. Registering before October 5 will help ensure you are eligible to participate in this year's General Election.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

The Meade County Clerk's Office is also seeking civic-minded members of the Meade County community to serve as poll workers during the General Election. 

Poll workers play an essential role in ensuring elections are conducted fairly, securely, and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity to serve your community and help support the democratic process.

Individuals interested in serving as a poll worker are encouraged to contact the Meade County Clerk's Office for additional information about qualifications, training, and compensation.
